New Kent High School prom will be on Saturday, May 3rd  from 7:00-10:00 PM at the Hippodrome Theatre in Richmond, Virginia. Prom tickets are required to enter.Tickets will be sold on April 10th, 11th, 17th, and 18th for $60.00 and April 24th & 25th for $75.00.  If a student is not on the guest list, they are not permitted to enter. All students bringing out of school guests must have a photo ID to enter. Shoes must be worn by guests at all times and no glitter or confetti is permitted in the Hippodrome theatre. All students must have a permission slip and they are located below, outside of A-212, and the main office.

The parking flier is attached below and posted on class schoology pages. For any student who signed up for bus transportation, the bus will leave at 6:30 PM sharp from New Kent High School and return at 10:30-10:45 PM. Students who ride the bus to prom are required to ride the bus back to campus. 

Students will be wanded by Hippodrome Security before entering prom. Please make sure that all items on your person are school-appropriate. In addition to Hippodrome Security, faculty chaperones, NKHS administration, School Security and New Kent Sheriff's Department will be present at the prom. Richmond City police will be present to assist with traffic. Student safety is our top priority.
