Our Mission: New Kent County Public Schools will equip every student with the knowledge, skills, and character to excel in the three Es (Employment, Enlistment, and Enrollment). New Kent County Public Schools will host Celebrate the Arts 2026 on Saturday, April 25th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at New Kent High School, offering a free community event showcasing student creativity through theatre and music performances, a curated student art exhibit, and hands‑on craft activities. Elementary families whose children have artwork selected for display will receive a personal invitation from their art teachers. All community members are invited to attend this celebration of student talent and artistic achievement.

On April 9th,the New Kent County Voter Registration and Elections Office will be holding a voter registration event for eligible students turning 18 years old by November 3, 2026. Please read on for more information.

A Jostens' representative will be on campus for Sophmore Parent Night on Tuesday, March 17th from 5:00pm- 6:30pm. They will be available to discuss class ring options, answer questions, and help with the selection and payment process.

Rising juniors and seniors at New Kent High School are invited to apply to serve as student representatives on the New Kent County School Board for the 2026-2027 school year. Applicants must have a minimum 3.0 GPA, no failing grades, and be able to attend at least 75% of Board meetings. The application is available online and the deadline is March 27th, 2026.
