ACLU Summer Advocacy Program
The ACLU Summer Advocacy Program brings together high school students to participate in a firsthand learning experience for the next generation of social justice advocates. During this week-long program in Washington, DC, students participate in electives and seminars led by lobbyists, community activists, lawyers, and ACLU experts to enhance their knowledge of civil liberties, social justice issues, and advocacy campaigns.

1-week summer day camps for high school students interested in exploring careers in medicine, run by medical students in over 30 cities nationwide.

Christopher Newport University Summer Humanities Institute
The Summer Humanities Institute will expose students to a wide range of ideas, values and people instrumental to the founding of the American republic.
Cornerstone Summer Institute at UVA
The Cornerstone Summer Institute is a week-long summer camp at the University of Virginia where high school students learn about slavery and its legacies by exploring the University, Charlottesville, and area landmarks. The camp provides rising high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors with the opportunity to engage in historical investigation, archaeological excavation, and community engagement in order to learn and develop thinking skills that will prepare them for success in college and beyond.
Duke University Summer Session
Students in grades 9-12 can enroll in personal enrichment classes with a global perspective.
Experience America
Programs developed with the University of Washington in Seattle and the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (FiDM) in Los Angeles. Programs include Entrepreneurship, Game Experience, Fashion at FiDM, and Experience Japan.

Explore Engineering
Explore Engineering is a series of immersive engineering design courses for high school sophomore, junior and senior girls at Sweet Briar College in south central Virginia. Weekend events are offered in the spring and fall, and a weeklong pre-college, for-credit course is offered in the summer.

VCU Dental Career Exploration (DCE) & Dental Hygiene Career Exploration (DHCE)
DCE and DHCE are offered to high school students from the city of Richmond and Chesterfield, Hanover and Henrico counties who are interested in exploring a career in dentistry or dental hygiene. Preference will be given to highly-qualified, underrepresented minority, first generation college, or students interested in serving in under-served communities, but is open to all applicants. DCE is a two-week, non-residential program for high school students who want to explore dentistry through hands-on lab activities and interactive workshops. DHCE is a three-day, non-residential program for high school students who want to explore dental hygiene through hands-on lab activities and interactive workshops.
VCU SAT Summer Institute
Two summer sessions on VCU's campus with experienced instructors using official preparation guides from the College Board.
Virginia Space Grant Consortium
Free. statewide STEM program for current 8th and 9th graders. Sessions are offered at Old Dominion University, Virginia Tech, and University of Virginia.

Virginia Tech invites talented, high achieving and intellectually curious rising high school juniors and seniors to participate in a 5-day academic summer enrichment program at Virginia Tech's main campus in Blacksburg. Programs include Agriculture and Life Sciences, Architecture and Urban Studies, Business, Engineering, Liberal Arts and Human Sciences, Natural Resources and Environment, Science, and Veterinary Medicine.

William and Mary Law Courses 2020 Summer Courses
This summer, William & Mary Law School offers an exceptional opportunity for high school students to experience law-related courses in the comfort of their homes using an interactive videoconferencing platform.
